Reference Letters from Our Corporate Customers

Colorado Department of Transportation

As one of your clients, we are submitting to you this letter of reference upon your request. It is a distinct pleasure to do so as the Maintenance and Operations Branch of the Colorado Department of Transportation has been delighted with your training services. Having selected to contract with CDLCollege two years ago through a competitive bidding process, we continue to be completely satisfied with both your technical services as well as the exceptional customer service you provide on a consistent basis.

Your course, comprised of classroom defensive driving training, pre-/post-trip equipment inspection, evasive maneuvers, backing, and snowplow driving simulator modules, has been among the highest rated courses at CDOT’s Maintenance Training Academy. We have found your instructors to be of the highest quality possessing exceptional real-world experience and training competence to match. What has been equally impressive is the exceptional customer service that you and your staff have provided. The constant attention you give to identifying and meeting our business needs, assessing the quality of the services we receive from your company, soliciting and receptivity to feedback on ways to tailor your training to our specific business needs, and serving us as if we are your only customer makes working with CDL College a true delight.

We fully anticipate continuing our partnership with your excellent company for many years to come. Furthermore, we unconditionally and enthusiastically recommend your company to others who are considering you as a service provider. We welcome prospective customers to contact us directly for further information.

Thank you for providing us the opportunity to share our experiences with others in the transportation safety community.

This letter is to recommend CDL College for their exemplary work.

Our company is a mid-sized oil and gas producer. We began our association with COL College in 2010 because our vehicle incident rate was higher than acceptable. Our motor vehicle incident review team recommended that a hands-on driver training program be implemented. COL College put together the Space Management Decision Driving program consisting of simulator, classroom and commentary drive for our fleet of pickups and SUV's. They were very accommodating, customizing the simulator to replicate terrain, vegetation and weather conditions.

To date, COL College has provided training for 300+ drivers. Subsequent participant evaluations have been overwhelmingly positive and our incident rate dropped significantly. Our drivers have added driving skills in an enjoyable way and have furthered our goal of sending them home to their families as healthy as they arrived on site at the start of their shift.
The staff of COL College is personable, efficient and consistently maintains contact with us to deliver their training in a timely and cost effective manner. I recommend them without reservation. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
